delimap ("the App") respects your privacy and handles personal and device data appropriately.
This policy applies to the App and its related backend APIs (e.g., database distribution, sharing store access information, favorites sync/download).
1. Information We Collect
(A) Device & Usage Information
Basic technical information (OS/app version, etc.)
Anonymous identifier (e.g., clientUserId generated within the App)
Crash logs / diagnostics (for debugging and quality improvement)
(B) Location Information
Used to determine your current area (prefecture/region) and to download/update the corresponding offline store database (DB).
The App applies an area-based restriction to prevent arbitrary DB downloads and to save device storage.
(C) User-Provided Content
Text, tags, and photos (images you capture/select and upload) when sharing store access information
Information related to favorites (list display, sync/download as needed)
Information you provide when contacting support (e.g., email)
(D) Ads & Measurement
The ads (e.g., Google AdMob), advertising identifiers may be collected/used.
The scope of data depends on each provider’s policy.

Provide core features (map, search, DB download/update, heatmap, standby suggestions)
Provide store access information sharing and display
Bug fixes, quality improvement, and security
Usage analytics for improving the service

3. Sharing with Third Parties
The App may use third-party services to provide features (e.g., ads, crash reporting).
Data collected by these providers is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Permissions
Location (Required): Used to determine your area and download/update the required offline DB. Without granting location permission, the App cannot obtain the DB and the core functionality will not be available.
Camera (Optional): Used only when you choose to take a photo to attach and upload (e.g., for sharing store access information).
Photos/Media (Optional): Used only when you choose an existing image to attach and upload.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings. If disabled, some features (e.g., photo attachment) may not be available.

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, and delete or anonymize it when no longer needed or legally required.

You can change location/camera/photos permissions in device settings
Submitting shared access information is optional (map/search are available after DB is obtained)
You may be able to control ad personalization via device/Google settings

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
